Description
The Troon Loft is on the second floor of the Troon Ranch's duplex unit. The deep porch with extended awning and exposed framing of this rental near Scottsdale, AZ has both dining and seating areas – which is perfect because you're going to be spending most of your time out here on the porch! You'll be sitting virtually in the trees, enjoying your morning coffee or that last cocktail while watching the gorgeous sunset. And if you're inside, the window wall lets the view and the light in.
The loft has a fully open plan – it's just one big spacious room with an enclosed bath in one corner and windows everywhere. It really is a cabin in the sky, with exposed beams, tall T&G ceilings, cedar plank walls and wainscot. And the entire loft smells so fresh from the rough sawn cedar paneling! Did we mention the windows? There are windows on every wall, so you get an uninterrupted view of the desert and mountains from every angle.
The raised fireplace allows viewing from the seating area or while snuggling in the comfy king-sized bed. And there is plenty of space for an air mattress or sleeping bags for guests.
A fully equipped kitchen has everything you'll need, including the most important appliance – a coffee maker. There are a few upper storage shelves, but most of the kitchen wall is windows – you can wash dishes and watch the desert at the same time. The kitchen and bath both have ceramic tile floors and counter tops. The focus of the bathroom is the corner tub – big enough for two to soak and tucked under the corner windows, it has some of the best views in the loft. There is a separate shower and laundry too.
The porch overlooks the lovely pool area and putting green complete with cactus obstacle! And of course, you have a clear view of the amazing desert and the towering saguaro cacti!
So, if you are looking for a quiet secluded rental near Scottsdale, AZ, if you love the desert and spectacular sunsets, and actually being able to see the stars at night, you will love this property. And while it may feel like you're miles from nowhere, it's less than a mile to one of the gateway trail heads to the McDowell Mountain Sonoran Preserve. And, it's only a mile in each direction from the main Scottsdale access roads, literally making this gorgeous desert rental minutes from the best restaurants, shopping, hiking, horseback riding, golf and entertainment. The Troon Ranch rentals have the best of both worlds – desert location and easy access to Scottsdale!
